The Avrenim Team have successfully completed the refurbishment of the existing male and female changing rooms within the Liverpool University Dental Hospital, to accommodate and improve changing facilities including the upgrade of the existing heating and ventilation systems.

The works were completed within an eight-week period and involved the complete strip out of all ceilings, partitions, floor coverings and the removal, replacement and upgrade of the existing electrical and mechanical services including replacement and linking of fire alarm systems to the existing system and replacement of all internal and external fire doors, ironmongery and signage.

The new works involved a major internal refit to create new and improved changing facilities for students and members of staff of the Dental Hospital.

The complete internal refurbishment included the installation of new suspended ceilings, new cubical partitions, new skirting boards, new doors, reconfiguring of the new wet services new domestic water services, new vinyl anti-slip flooring, general decorations, plastering, joinery and associated M&E services. We have effectively negotiated and carried out substantial additional works to the changing facility which involved the replacement of the water fed, ceiling mounted, radiant heating panels and controls.

There was a strict eight-week timetable to be adhered to as it was critical that staff and students within the premises emptied during the refurbishment work.

We worked closely with the Client to ensure that the works were carried out in a safe, pragmatic and effective manner with extensive collaboration between all trades. The installation was handed over on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the Client.
