Avrenim announces strategic partnership with Solarel

Avrenim, a leader in net zero consultancy, design, engineering, and project delivery, has announced a new partnership with Solarel, a commercial rooftop solar power purchase agreement (PPA) provider. This collaboration will deliver fully funded solar installations to businesses through PPAs, helping businesses reduce energy costs and carbon footprint without upfront investment.

Avrenim’s renewables division, Avrenim Energy, is a leading provider of decarbonisation consultancy, design and project delivery with a dedicated team specialising in optimised solar system design and delivery, including all pre-consents, from grid applications through to complex planning applications.

Solarel is a project developer and an investment firm, bridging the gap between investors in renewables and businesses looking to de-carbonise. As at September 2024, Solarel has £16 million of commitments from institutional investors to invest into UK rooftop solar. Solarel prioritises transparency, document standardisation, and cost-benefit decision-making, to streamline solar projects, minimise friction, pass on greater savings, and reduce implementation risk for customers on project sizes ranging from 30 kilowatts to multi-megawatt.

Through this partnership, Avrenim and Solarel offer a unique opportunity for businesses to install solar systems with no capital outlay – solar-as-a-service.  Avrenim provides professional solar design, supply, installation, and maintenance services, while Solarel manages the PPAs, funds the installation, and monitors system performance to optimise efficiency.

Established in 2018, Avrenim is a rapidly growing business, with ambitious plans to expand its energy services and customer base in the coming years. It has also recently acquired and relocated to its new 12,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Aintree, Liverpool. This state-of-the-art facility includes multiple workspaces, workshops and a large warehouse, providing a welcoming and optimal environment for its operations.

Adam Newberry, General Manager, Avrenim, said:

“Our partnership with Solarel reinforces our commitment to delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions to our clients.
