As we journey towards the close of another year, we’ve taken some time to reflect on our achievements over the past 12 months. A stand-out moment for us was our attendance at a Royal Tree Planting Ceremony.
In recognition of the Liverpool University Hospitals Trust’s joint work in reducing carbon emissions and promoting a greener environment, Broadgreen Hospital and Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital joined over 300 organisations from across the UK as recipients of special trees in the Queen’s name which were gifted in a pot embossed with Her Majesty’s Cypher.
Avrenim staff were available to assist with the ceremony on the day. This included preparing the grounds ready for planting and installing the commemorative plaque.
