Avrenim Proud to be Headline Sponsor at Liverpool University Hospitals NHSFT Charity Ball

On Friday 30^th September Avrenim were headline sponsor for the Liverpool University Hospitals NHSFT 2022 Charity Ball to raise funds to help their Director of Nursing, Fiona Murphy MBE, to successfully deliver her Swan Model within the Trust. What an incredible evening had by all.

The Swan Model supports care throughout end-of-life, into bereavement and beyond, and will enable us to be entirely patient and family-focused, meeting the unique needs of each individual and their loved ones. All of the money raised on Friday 30^th September will proudly go towards enabling Fiona and her team to begin implementing the Swan Model across our trust. The Trust’s aim is to support patients, their families and our staff by providing excellent, individualised end-of-life and bereavement care for every patient and every family, every time.

John Newberry said of the event “Nothing makes me prouder to be able to sponsor such a wonderful fund raising event and for such a good cause, my father went through the SWAN process at the Liverpool Royal Hospital which provided him, my family and all his relatives with a dignified passing and the support from Fiona’s SWAN team was incredibly comforting – another example of the NHS in Merseyside leading the way in patient care”
